Who are we?
ProfilGruppen is a Swedish, publicly listed industrial company with a strong position in the development and manufacturing of customized aluminum profiles and components. We operate in a European market with clear competition and high ambitions regarding quality, efficiency, and business acumen. In today's market situation, we perform better than many comparable players. Our analyses also show that there is good potential to further develop profitability. Here, the Business Controller role plays an important and supportive function in strengthening our working methods and tools. The company has approximately 500 employees and is headquartered in Åseda. The turnover amounts to about 2.5 billion SEK, and a significant part of the deliveries goes to export.
About the role
As a Business Controller, you will be a central part of supporting governance, analysis, and follow-up within one of our business areas. The role offers varied and developing tasks with a focus on analysis, decision support, and improvement initiatives. The design of the assignment can be partially adapted based on your experience and profile.
An important part of the role is to contribute to the understanding of our business logics, capital binding, and operational connections. You will work closely with the organization and provide analyses that support clear priorities and well-founded decisions. You report to the CFO and participate in decision support through analysis, forecasts, follow-ups, and investment assessments. The role involves collaboration with several parts of the organization and offers good opportunities for a broad network and learning.
Working methods
The role is based at the headquarters in Åseda. ProfilGruppen applies a hybrid working method where work is mainly conducted from the office, with the possibility of remote work up to two days a week. Since the role is close to operations, many collaborations and analyses occur in close dialogue with the organization, which means that most collaborations, analyses, and decisions take place in the operational environment.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills and an interest in the connections between operations, capital, and results. You likely have an education as a civil engineer and/or business economist. You thrive in a structured and quality-conscious work environment and appreciate a setting where clarity and long-term thinking are important. The role requires good problem-solving abilities and the capacity to understand new models and connections.
We also prefer that you have experience from qualified controller work or other analytical roles within finance, management, or similar. You have solid experience in manufacturing operations or capital-intensive industries. Local anchoring is desirable. You work long-term and methodically and can prioritize in a way that creates balance and stability even when conditions change.
